Flamingo is this weeks WPT Player of the Week.  Flamingo has been absent over the last few seasons, but during the opener, he managed to score another for the OG's.  Dogg has been on a tear, even winning FNL as well as a possible triple crown WPT South event.  Congrats to the Dogg for these victories.

Watson Poker Tour Finished;
Mingo Put On Standby Concerning Chips - Table

The Watson Poker Tour has officially closed its door until further notice.  The WPT would like to personally thank everyone who participated and helped at any and all events.  Thanks to the Mingo, the EoL, and other places that have graciously held our events.

The Mingo will continue its league but without the use of WPT chips or final table.  This is not a get back to any participants of the Mingo since they have continued to keep the WPT alive and kicking.  However, those chips and tables are property of WPT and were paid for by WPT funds.  The Mingo can continue to use the chips until March 8, 2007 which is when I will arrive to play my last event at the Mingo under WPT flagship.

I am asking all former and current WPT members to consider coming to this game since it will be last one under the WPT flagship.  Thanks again for all the help, hardwork, etc you have put into this league.

Mark C.
